    About the role#

    Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to join the Space Systems Sector for a co-op program in Chandler, Arizona. This position runs full-time from January through August 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
    • Work from engineering drawings and both written and verbal instructions.
    • Operate related mechanical equipment.
    • Conduct tests and report data in a prescribed format.
    • Perform calibration and alignment checks.
    • Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
    • Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
    • A major in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • A graduation date after August 2027.
    • Availability to work 40 hours per week from January through August 2027.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
