About the role#
As a student intern with the Water/Wastewater team at Olsson, you will perform hands-on work that connects your academic studies to real-world projects. You will work alongside engineers on tasks related to wastewater collection, treatment, and water systems. Typical projects include sanitary sewer piping, pump stations, water supply wells, storage tanks, and treatment facilities.
What you'll do#
- Provide project design using CAD and modeling software.
- Perform technical analysis and prepare construction documents.
- Provide construction services on active projects.
- Conduct research and write technical reports.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
