    About the role#

    The Student Tech PRN position at Oklahoma Children's Hospital supports diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures. You will work under immediate supervision to gain hands-on experience in a clinical environment. This is a paid, full-time role with a rolling term.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with procedures using various cardiovascular and radiologic technologies.
    • Prepare patients for their scheduled procedures.
    • Perform tasks according to established clinical practice standards and protocols.
    • Maintain accurate department records, reports, and files.
    • Order and stock necessary supplies.
    • Ensure the procedure area remains clean and ready for incoming patients.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited cardiovascular or radiologic technology program.
    • A current BLS certification upon hire.
    • Understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
    • Knowledge of diagnostic cardiovascular or radiologic technology procedures.
    • Ability to operate equipment related to your primary specialty.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build effective working relationships with patients and staff.

    • Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Majors considered: Biomedical Engineering, Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
