About the role#
The Center for Global Business Programs (CGBP) at the Lubin School of Business seeks a Student Assistant to support our team in New York City. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, assisting visitors, and helping with program events. You will work no more than 10 hours per week while school is in session, with a schedule determined by your supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors, provide office tours, and answer questions about college procedures.
- Handle clerical duties including filing, photocopying, shredding, scanning, and managing mail.
- Update the CGBP website and social media accounts.
- Create flyers and graphics using Canva, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Help run social and cultural integration activities and reserve rooms for events.
- Support faculty with classroom logistics and share announcements about events and academic changes.
- Assist with emails, phone calls, and inventory tracking.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current undergraduate student in good standing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms, and Teams.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Comfort with public speaking and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
