    About the role#

    The Student Outreach and Social Media Coordinator supports community service and non-partisan political programming for the Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR). You will act as a public-facing staff member at community events and assist with office operations. This is a paid, part-time position.

    What you'll do#

    • Create digital content, including flyers and graphics, for CCAR initiatives.
    • Manage the CCAR NYC Instagram account and work with the Pace Votes TikTok team.
    • Coordinate communications across university platforms.
    • Help plan volunteering projects and CCAR events.
    • Supervise student volunteers at on-campus and off-campus events.
    • Build relationships with student leaders and organizations to recruit volunteers.
    • Welcome visitors to the CCAR office and assist the Student Projects Coordinator and other student leaders as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a Pace NYC undergraduate student for the 2026-2027 school year.
    • Work study eligibility.
    • Interest in civic engagement and volunteering.
    • Proactive approach to tasks and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to communicate with diverse groups, including students and professionals.
    • Majors in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or Political Science are relevant to this work.

    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
    • Schedule: To be determined with your supervisor.
