About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team for a summer internship. You will work alongside our staff to learn how we manage projects, interact with business stakeholders, and use various tools to keep initiatives on track. This role balances the need for structured documentation with the flexibility required to handle changing project needs. You will gain experience in a professional office setting and learn how to tailor your communication style to different audiences.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a Project Manager on various projects.
- Attend project meetings and assist with documentation, financial tracking, and planning activities.
- Work with Portfolio Leads during the early stages of annual planning and business case development.
- Collaborate with PMO Business Consultants or Business Analysts on business process reviews, including creating process flows and engagement summaries.
- Support the Communications Lead in developing materials for the Enterprise PMO team.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current standing as a rising senior pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or Communications.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to initiate tasks and follow through to completion as a self-starter.
- Up to one year of experience is preferred but not required.
