About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Facilities Engineering Intern to join the Global Operations group in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work on projects that improve the safety, reliability, and energy efficiency of our facilities systems.
What you'll do#
- Identify and execute projects to improve facility system performance.
- Perform deep dives into critical systems to find optimization opportunities.
- Troubleshoot system faults and resolve operational interruptions.
- Update technical documentation, including building equipment records, standard operating procedures, and piping diagrams.
- Assist with the installation of process equipment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of at least one course in thermodynamics or fluid dynamics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
