About the role#
This summer internship offers direct experience in the data center industry. You will work on a live construction site to gain exposure to various build stages and project teams. The program includes a comprehensive orientation, weekly lunch and learns, and site-based activities.
What you'll do#
- Perform site walks to support estimating, safety, and project life-cycle tasks.
- Participate in regular QA/QC meetings and checks.
- Track RFI status and coordinate with project vendors.
- Assist the Development team with core projects and construction oversight.
- Support entitlement and permitting requirements for assigned sites.
- Help manage project budgets, schedules, and status reports.
- Update project status information for director-level reviews.
- Develop scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services.
- Review change orders, submittals, and pricing proposals.
- Help with due diligence efforts for new properties and land banks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- You must be a US Citizen.
