About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports the project team throughout the development and execution phases of construction projects. This role provides direct exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, and procurement. You will gain hands-on experience with project management processes while contributing to active work.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
- Assist with the development of project schedules and track progress.
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation under supervision.
- Help with safety-related documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Manage project documents, including RFI submittals.
- Assist with procurement tasks such as purchase orders and subcontract packages.
- Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
