About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports the Project Manager and the wider team throughout the development and execution phases of construction projects. This role offers exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities. You will gain hands-on experience with project management processes and tools while contributing to real-world projects. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
- Support the development of project schedules and track progress.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Manage project documentation, including RFI submittals.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
- Assist with safety documentation, subcontractor paperwork, and procurement tasks like purchase orders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
