About the role#
As an Integration & Test Intern, you will support the Space Systems Integration and Test Team in Long Beach. You will work on equipment and contribute to improvements that directly impact the spacecraft Assembly Integration & Test (AIT) phase. This team manages satellite programs from initial proposal through launch and early operations to ensure flight spacecraft meet mission requirements.

- Apply engineering concepts to solve real challenges.
- Work with mentors and supervisors to grow your technical and professional skills.
- Attend frequent 1:1 meetings to provide progress updates and receive feedback.
- Participate in tech talks and network with other interns and employees.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to work in small, high-performing teams and thrive in ambiguity.
- Ability to lead development projects independently and collaborate across teams.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.5 or above and 6+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Preferred: Experience with hands-on hardware, test equipment, Python, Siemens NX, JavaScript, or knowledge of spacecraft design.
