About the role#
Royal Electric Company is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for our Sacramento office. This full-time internship takes place during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site with our manufacturing team to gain hands-on experience and support our production goals.
What you'll do#
- Solve technical problems and provide engineering support.
- Produce engineering drawings and create 3D models for product completion and documentation.
- Participate in team-based process improvement planning.
- Help build and maintain a library of resources and systems.
- Interface with internal teams and suppliers to verify production requirements and documentation.
- Assist with quality audits, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Follow shop safety regulations.
- Ensure products are free from defects, cost-efficient, and produced on time.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with 3D modelling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
- Detail-oriented approach and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
