About the role#
Saint Luke's Hospital is hiring a Nursing Intern for the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This is a paid, PRN position requiring a minimum of one shift per six-week schedule. You will work on-site in Kansas City, Missouri.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care for assigned patients.
- Assist other health care team members with daily tasks.
- Complete technical tasks following unit competency validation.
- Note that interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- An expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
- Less than one year of applicable experience.
