About the role#
Saint Luke's is hiring a Nursing Intern for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This is a paid, on-site position based in Kansas City. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to gain clinical experience.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures and technical tasks based on unit competency validation.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care for assigned patients.
- Assist other members of the healthcare team.
- Note that interns do not perform licensed nursing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- Graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Location & details#
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
- Schedule: PRN, with a minimum of one shift per six-week schedule.
- Work modality: On-site.
