About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Sparks, Nevada. You will work within the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Aviation, and Security business area. The program provides hands-on experience through project involvement, mentorship, and workshops.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to track project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
- Participate in technical projects and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Standing as a college Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
