About the role#
WCIV in Charleston is looking for a Sales Intern to join the team. This role provides practical experience in sales strategies, customer engagement, and market analysis. You will work closely with the sales team to support various initiatives and gain insight into the daily operations of a sales department.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies and campaigns.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new trends and opportunities.
- Support the sales team with lead generation, customer outreach, and follow-up tasks.
- Prepare sales reports and track key performance indicators.
- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes during team meetings.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Help with administrative tasks, including maintaining CRM systems and updating sales materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or status as a recent graduate.
- At least sophomore standing at an accredited college or university.
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work approximately 15 hours per week for 12 weeks.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Reliable transportation to work from our Charleston, SC location.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Communications.
