About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will work with children ages 18 months to 8 years old, helping them learn soccer in a fun, age-appropriate environment. The role requires a balance of being active on the field and assisting with business operations. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our team across various community locations.
What you'll do#
- Lead engaging youth soccer sessions on the field.
- Support marketing initiatives and business operations.
- Assist with community events.
- Provide coaching to children at preschools, elementary schools, and parks.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A passion for impacting children through sports and fitness.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the office and various coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Enrollment in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Annapolis, Maryland.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, involving 50% on-field coaching and 50% office or event support.
- Commitment: Full-time, 30+ hours per week, including weekends.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
