About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will work with children ages 18 months to 8 years old at local preschools, schools, and community centers. This role is designed for students in Marketing, Business Administration, or Operations Management who want to gain hands-on experience in the youth sports industry.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions on the field.
- Support marketing initiatives and business operations in the office.
- Assist with community events.
- Participate in both online and in-person training.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in positively impacting children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle for travel to coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, though soccer experience is not required.
Location & details#
- Location: Burtonsville, Maryland.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4).
- Commitment: 30+ hours per week, including weekends.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a split of 50% on-field coaching and 50% office and event work.
