About the role#
This is a paid internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will gain hands-on experience in youth sports management by splitting your time between field coaching and office operations. This role is designed for students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Operations Management, or Business Administration who want to contribute to the local community.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years.
- Assist with various marketing initiatives.
- Support daily business operations at the office.
- Help coordinate and run community events.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in impacting children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal insured vehicle for travel to coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Availability to work on weekends.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, though soccer experience is not required.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Arlington, Virginia, and Burtonsville, Maryland.
- The work is hybrid, consisting of 50% on-field coaching and 50% office and event support.
- This is a full-time commitment of 30+ hours per week.
