About the role#
This internship offers exposure to private equity and venture capital through fund administration and partnership accounting. You will work during the summer of 2027 to provide financial and administrative support to Associates and Fund Controllers. You will gain experience with the systems technology used for client reporting and assist with data entry and special projects.
What you'll do#
- Enter financial and client information into our recordkeeping system.
- Maintain and update filing systems.
- Support audit and tax teams with their daily tasks.
- Execute special projects assigned by Associates and Fund Controllers.
- Assist teams with systems conversions.
- Analyze reports and client documents to identify and resolve discrepancies.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
- Capability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred.
