About the role#
This internship offers exposure to the private equity and venture capital industries through fund administration and partnership accounting. You will support Associates and Fund Controllers with financial and administrative tasks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Enter financial and client information into the recordkeeping system.
- Maintain and update filing systems.
- Support audit and tax teams with documentation.
- Assist with systems conversions and data entry projects for new and existing clients.
- Analyze reports and client documents to identify and fix discrepancies.
- Complete special projects as assigned by Associates and Fund Controllers.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.
