About the role#
This internship provides exposure to private equity and venture capital through fund administration and partnership accounting. You will work alongside Associates and Fund Controllers to support financial operations. This is a full-time position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Enter financial and client data into our recordkeeping systems.
- Maintain and update filing systems.
- Support audit and tax teams with their projects.
- Analyze financial reports and client documents to identify and fix discrepancies.
- Assist with systems conversions and other special projects assigned by Fund Controllers.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working both independently and in a team setting.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting or Finance.
