About the role#
This internship offers exposure to the private equity and venture capital industries through fund administration and partnership accounting. You will work alongside Associates and Fund Controllers to provide financial and administrative support during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Enter financial and client information into the recordkeeping system.
- Maintain and update various filing systems.
- Support audit and tax teams with their daily tasks.
- Assist teams with systems conversions and other special projects.
- Analyze reports and client documents to identify and resolve discrepancies.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask while meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but is not required.
