About the role#
Starr offers a summer internship program based in Atlanta for students interested in the insurance industry. This is a full-time, 10-week paid opportunity that takes place on-site. You will work within one of our core functions, such as Claims, Underwriting, Audit, IT, Marketing, or HR.
What you'll do#
- Support business needs based on your specific departmental assignment.
- Participate in an intensive 10-week training program alongside other interns.
- Gain hands-on experience and mentorship from managers.
- Develop professional skills in areas like communication and networking.
- Present a final Capstone project that summarizes your key takeaways and knowledge learned during the summer.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, with a preference for Risk Management or Insurance majors.
- Relevant coursework is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a corporate workplace environment.
