About the role#
Starr offers a summer internship program for students interested in the Property and Casualty insurance industry. You will work within one of our core functions, such as Claims, Underwriting, Audit, IT, Marketing, or HR. This is a full-time, paid position based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
You will support business needs while gaining a practical understanding of the insurance sector. The program includes:
- Training from seasoned managers and mentors.
- Professional development focused on communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Participation in an intensive 10-week program alongside other interns.
- A final Capstone project to summarize your experience and key takeaways.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration.
- Preference for students majoring in Risk Management or Insurance.
- Relevant coursework in business or insurance is preferred.
- Ability to commit to the full 10-week program.
