About the role#
As an IT Technician Intern, you will work with our team to support infrastructure and software applications. You will gain experience in system design, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as the implementation of cloud-based software. This role involves direct support for operation improvements and user training.
What you'll do#
- Respond to incidents and service requests to support existing infrastructure.
- Assist with system changes, enhancements, and documentation.
- Test and implement security policies and IT best-practice procedures.
- Support departmental internal controls and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Provide technical support for Windows environments, including Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and device administration.
- Perform basic hardware and network troubleshooting.
- Deliver a final presentation to management summarizing your accomplishments.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees of varying technical backgrounds.
- Understanding of Windows environment administration.
- Familiarity with basic hardware and network troubleshooting.
