About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program within the Quantitative Equity department at T. Rowe Price. You will work on analytical projects and gain exposure to quantitative factors, stock selection models, portfolio management, and alternative data. The program includes a formal orientation, mentorship, and engagement with senior leaders across the firm.
What you'll do#
- Support analytical and quantitative projects within the quantitative team.
- Use data to support the team’s research agenda regarding risk evaluation and investment decision making.
- Create data visualizations to communicate findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Demonstrated programming skills or aptitude, specifically in R, MATLAB, Python, or object-oriented programming.
- Coursework in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
- Knowledge of investments, portfolios, and quantitative analysis.
- A commitment to learning AI-augmented platforms.
- Work authorization in the United States that does not require sponsorship.
