About the role#
The Digital Assets Strategy team manages the implementation and execution of firm-wide digital asset strategy. This program focuses on the investment and operational aspects of blockchain technologies, cryptographic tokens, and protocols. Interns participate in a formal program that includes mentorship, networking events, and an executive speaker series to build an institutional investment skillset.
What you'll do#
- Catalogue and evaluate leading investment frameworks for digital assets.
- Analyze the investment attractiveness of a specific blockchain mainnet or protocol.
- Prepare overviews of blockchain sectors such as Layer 1s, Layer 2s, or Oracles.
- Develop investment cases for sub-sectors within the broader ecosystem.
- Perform comparative analysis on competing mainnets or protocols.
- Complete additional research projects involving quantitative analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, with graduation expected between December 2027 and June 2029.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Foundational understanding of blockchain technology and protocols.
- Experience with modeling in Excel or Python.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
Location & details#
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland.
- Work modality: Hybrid, with up to one day per week from home.
- Employment status: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: Paid position at $75,000 annually.
