About the role#
As a Research Analyst Intern, you will support the Research team by conducting market research and analyzing data to inform commercial real estate investment decisions. You will gain hands-on experience in applied quantitative research, statistical analysis, and portfolio analytics. This role involves working on projects that support multiple aspects of the investment process, including interaction with professionals across Transactions, Asset Management, Land, Development, and Finance.
What you'll do#
- Conduct macroeconomic, capital market, and commercial real estate research to support investment opportunities.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and indicators of market performance.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of forecasting, ranking, and market-monitoring models.
- Prepare research summaries, data visualizations, and investment briefs for leadership.
- Support tools and analyses that evaluate portfolio performance, risk, and diversification.
- Help improve research processes through data organization and workflow automation.
What you'll need#
- Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
- Pursuing or nearing completion of a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Experience working with Python and data science libraries including pandas, NumPy, or scikit-learn.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial, economic, or market data.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their practical application.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through writing, presentations, and data visualizations.
