About the role#
The Walsh Group is hiring for a Co-op Program for the Winter 2027 term. This program is designed to prepare students for leadership positions in the construction industry through a series of work rotations. You will work alongside experienced staff to gain hands-on experience in multiple divisions. The program is paid and requires a full-time commitment.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers and field supervision staff with daily project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Manage the scheduling of various contracts and materials.
- Handle document control and safety management.
- Write RFIs and submittals.
- Participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a cooperative education program at a college or university is preferred.
- Pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule.
- Willingness to relocate if required by the specific role.
