About the role#
The Walsh Group is hiring Safety Interns for construction projects across Florida. This program provides hands-on experience in field management and project safety. Interns receive training to prepare for potential full-time roles after graduation. You will work directly with on-site safety managers to implement company policies and support project operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform safety walks in the field.
- Assist the safety manager with new employee orientations.
- Manage accident and incident reporting documentation.
- Monitor the health and safety of personnel on jobsites.
- Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors to ensure compliance with company standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program is preferred.
- Availability to commit to a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate may be required for certain roles.
Location & details#
- Locations: Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa, Florida.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The program operates on a rolling basis.
