About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship designed to build a pipeline for future leadership talent. Interns perform work with strategic importance to the business. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time opportunities or leadership development programs after graduation. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Support Quality Assurance and Quality Operations activities, including investigations, deviations, and batch record reviews.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality and operational data for metrics reporting.
- Maintain and index quality records in accordance with documentation standards.
- Assist with material review and lot genealogy activities using company systems.
- Participate in Gemba walks to observe manufacturing processes and identify efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects by analyzing data and developing recommendations.
- Support digitalization initiatives, including the use of approved tools to improve quality processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Document Control.
- Complete a defined operational improvement project and present findings.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- At least 1 year of previous internship or work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, athletics, volunteer roles, or military service.
- Ability to influence others, solve complex problems, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong learning agility, curiosity, and an innovative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Geographic mobility and flexibility for current and future career opportunities.
- A reliable mode of transportation to the work site.
Location & details#
- Locations: Fair Lawn, NJ; Millersburg, PA; Plainville, MA; Bohemia, NY; Carlsbad, CA.
- Term: Summer 2027 (start dates available May 24 or June 14).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid internship with an hourly rate between $18.50 and $28.75, depending on role and location.
