About the role#
As a backend developer on the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) team, you will help build and support the core libraries behind our blockchain initiatives. You will work with our backend, middleware, and security teams to support projects from start to finish. We encourage you to explore how AI and other emerging technologies apply to our business during your time here.
What you'll do#
- Develop, maintain, and support core DLT libraries.
- Implement requests from internal and external clients.
- Facilitate the testing of DLT processes.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure the quality of our core libraries.
- Investigate new ways to apply technology to our existing business processes.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of modern programming languages, including C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency or multithreading.
- Experience with Git and working in a Linux environment.
- Interest in building and testing large-scale, real-time distributed systems.
- Interest in blockchain, smart contracts, or cryptocurrency.
- Ability to explain the technical tradeoffs behind your decisions.
- Comfort communicating with non-technical employees, partners, and clients.
- Willingness to take ownership of your work while operating independently or in a small team.
