    About the role#

    This is a full-time, 10 to 12-week summer internship running from May through August 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting Project Managers with construction activities. You will help ensure projects meet their objectives within the required time and budget. Your work may involve a single large project or several smaller ones.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare technical documentation including reports, RFI’s, and submittals.
    • Support project engineers with task coordination, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Participate in site visits and inspections to gather data and verify installations.
    • Help identify and troubleshoot engineering issues during design and implementation.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to reach project goals.
    • Attend training sessions and workshops to build your skills in mechanical construction.
    • Take meeting minutes and document substitution requests.
    • Assist the Project Manager in building and maintaining client relationships.
    • Prepare and maintain productivity reports.

    What you'll need#

    • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, Architectural Engineering, or a similar field.
    • Relevant technical or administrative experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
    • Knowledge of construction engineering technology, processes, and standards.
    • A team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
    • Self-motivation and the ability to drive results.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
    • A basic level of business acumen.
    • The ability to proactively identify problems and propose solutions.

    Location & details#

    • This role is located in Westminster, Colorado.
    • The position is on-site.
    • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Physical demands include walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling.
