    About the role#

    This is a full-time, 12-week internship running from May through August 2027. You will work alongside our teams to gain experience in corporate risk management within the construction industry. The program includes an orientation, job site visits, and community service opportunities. You will be paid between $19 and $23 per hour, depending on your experience and education.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify, assess, and document organizational risks while maintaining risk maps and tracking tools.
    • Create and update risk management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
    • Support contractor risk and compliance programs, including subcontractor data entry and enrollment.
    • Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and insurance topics to present to the team.
    • Assist with the annual corporate insurance renewal and the insurance audit following the policy year-end.
    • Develop training materials, standard operating procedures, and internal communications.
    • Help coordinate the FY27 Safety Summit.
    • Collaborate with teams across Operations, Safety, Human Resources, Accounting, and IT.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in risk management, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Construction Management, Economics, or Data Analysis. Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level students are preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Previous internships, academic projects, or coursework related to risk management, insurance, or construction are a plus.
    • You must be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site position based in the United States.
    • Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional travel to regional offices or project sites.
