About the role#
This Student Assistant role supports the Parking and Transportation Services division at the University of South Florida. You will report to the Customer Service Supervisor and work alongside a UCM representative to manage the division's digital presence and promotional efforts. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Tampa.
What you'll do#
- Create and manage social media accounts to communicate with the USF community.
- Craft and post messages to promote services and share information.
- Maintain, update, and optimize the division website.
- Draft and produce promotional materials and manage their inventory.
- Represent the division at campus and community tabling events.
- Assist with the development of presentations and interact with the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current USF student.
- A high school diploma and relevant college coursework.
- Experience in marketing and design.
- An understanding of basic public relations principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, flexible during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm).
- Wage: $15.30 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
