About the role#
The Animal Science Department is looking for a student to help with the daily operations of our state-inspected meat processing plant. This position provides support for office tasks and lab maintenance. You will gain experience in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
What you'll do#
- Enter data and maintain accurate files.
- Manage and scan records.
- Order necessary supplies.
- Keep the office organized.
- Handle laundry duties.
- Assist with other tasks in the Meat Lab as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student currently enrolled at the University of Wyoming.
- You must have received and accepted a work study award through Student Financial Aid.
- You are reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Previous experience with meat processing is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position located in the Animal Science Building in Laramie, Wyoming.
- The pay rate is $12 per hour.
- This is a part-time role with a rolling term.
