About the role#
This position offers students the chance to gain experience in applied and basic research within the Animal Science Department. You will support the Hollinger lab by assisting with graduate and undergraduate research programs. The work involves a mix of laboratory tasks, field research, and data management.
What you'll do#
- Perform laboratory bench-top research.
- Conduct hands-on ruminant livestock research and management.
- Assist with data sorting and analysis.
- Organize large data sets.
- Support ongoing laboratory and field research programs.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student at the University of Wyoming.
- You must be eligible for and have accepted a work study award through Student Financial Aid.
- Reliability and punctuality are expected.
- Previous lab experience is desired but not required.
- Preferred majors include Biology, Agriculture, or Biomedical Sciences.
