About the role#
The Broadcast Studio Manager supports Student Media by overseeing studio bookings and managing client use of the facility. This role involves direct coordination with clients and support staff to ensure projects run smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Manage studio bookings and client schedules.
- Provide oversight for clients using the studio space.
- Prepare invoices and collect necessary signatures.
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure it is in working order.
- Coordinate with studio support staff for specific client projects.
- Assist with marketing campaigns for the studio.
- Maintain, clean, and organize the studio and its equipment.
- Notify the Student Media Supervisor regarding necessary repairs or equipment replacements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student.
- A minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Proficiency with studio equipment.
- Availability to start work on August 18, 2025.
- Availability for publication deadlines on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
- Availability for training sessions on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Preferred experience includes prior work in broadcasting, video production, or supervisory roles, as well as knowledge of related software.

This is an on-site position based in Laramie, Wyoming. The role is open to students majoring in Media Studies, Graphic Design, Communications, Art, or Business Administration.
