About the role#
The University of Wyoming Alumni Association is looking for a hands-on intern to help prepare for and execute Homecoming events. You will report to the Director of Alumni Engagement and assist with daily tasks required to support these activities. This is a paid, full-time summer 2026 position.
What you'll do#
- Assemble and organize event materials.
- Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, decorations, and registration areas.
- Run errands on campus and in the local area to pick up or deliver items.
- Pack, label, and transport event supplies to and from venues.
- Provide general administrative support such as printing, copying, and stuffing envelopes.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student in good standing at the University of Wyoming.
- A valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets university standards is required.
- You should be comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- The role requires flexibility, as you may need to work evenings and weekends.
- We look for candidates who show attention to detail, initiative, and a team-oriented attitude.

- This position is located on-site in Laramie, Wyoming.
- Work is performed on campus at 7,220 feet above sea level.
