    About the role#

    As a Student Nurse Assistant, you will work with nursing staff to care for acutely ill patients in a hospital setting. This is a year-round position that offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your school commitments.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide direct physical care to patients in situations requiring specific techniques and demonstrated competency.
    • Work under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse.
    • Commit to a minimum of one 8 to 12 hour shift per week, with the option to pick up additional hours based on availability.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing program, either Associate or Bachelor of Science.
    • Successful completion of your program's hands-on entry-level clinical course.
    • Current CPR/BLS certification.
    • Previous health care experience is preferred.
    • Completion of the SNA Supplemental Packet is required for your application to be considered.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Madison, Wisconsin.
    • Pay: $18 per hour, plus differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
    • Schedule: This role is 20% FTE, which is 16 hours per pay period. Shifts generally occur every other weekend and may include days, evenings, or nights. Holidays may be required.
