About the role#
Wade Trim is hiring an Engineer Summer Intern for the Water Resources group in Columbus. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. The role operates on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine calculations under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Analyze continuous flow and rainfall data.
- Help develop spreadsheet tools for engineering projects.
- Collaborate with the planning, design, and hydraulic/hydrology departments.
- Obtain project drawings from local municipalities and manage document scanning.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
- Clear communication skills to work effectively with staff and clients.
- Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is a plus.
