About the role#
Wilton Re offers a 10 to 12 week summer internship program in Norwalk. You will work on active projects and gain professional experience while developing your business acumen. Interns participate in community outreach and receive mentorship from senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Assist the valuation team with AXIS model runs.
- Perform business as usual valuation tasks for Q2 reporting, including statutory, tax, and LDTI reserve runs.
- Complete control checks and prepare financial reporting deliverables for internal and external customers.
- Assist in the completion of experience studies to propose new or confirm existing liability assumptions.
- Gain familiarity with AXIS modeling.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior or senior status at a 4-year university.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical skills, specifically in Excel.
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Teams, Access, and CoPilot.
- SQL or other programming language knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June to mid-August).
- Format: Hybrid (3 days in-person, 2 days remote).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
