About the role#
Worthington Steel is seeking a Maintenance Intern to join our team in Valley City. This internship program provides professional development through hands-on experience in maintenance support functions. You will work on-site to assist the Maintenance Planner with daily operations and department projects.
What you'll do#
- Manage the Tool Crib implementation process.
- Enter and quote parts within the inventory management system.
- Receive, store, and organize incoming parts.
- Handle administrative and clerical duties to support the Maintenance Department.
- Maintain records and compile information for management.
- Respond to inquiries to provide information or direction.
What you'll need#
- Excellent writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to manage electronic records and perform technical tasks.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with individuals and groups.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
