About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to generation system modeling. You will work within the Energy Supply and Market Modeling team to focus on capacity expansion and production costing. The role begins on May 31, 2027, and may extend based on performance and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Shadow analysts to learn basic job functions.
- Attend meetings to understand team objectives and project scope.
- Prepare and load data for model inputs.
- Perform basic scenario analysis and review the results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or higher at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Operations Management.
- A strong interest in the electric power industry.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours per week) with potential for part-time hours during the school year.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at the designated office.
- Compensation: $19.00 to $20.90 per hour.
