About the role#
This position is for students currently pursuing a college degree who want to engage in ministry work. You will work under the supervision of an area director or mentor to develop your ministry skills and spiritual maturity. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Bismarck, North Dakota.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Engage in contact work and participate in Young Life club and Campaigners.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a strong team.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
- Implement camping strategies for the summer and school seasons.
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports.
- Participate in regional and area training events as required.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college degree program.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Proven relational skills when working with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- A profession of belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
- Agreement with the Young Life Statement of Faith.
