About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Dishwasher to work at Wofford College. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a dish machine.
- Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
- Store clean dishes and cooking equipment in their proper places.
- Receive vendor deliveries and organize stock.
- Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
- Clean and rotate items in the walk-in cooler.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods, or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Ability to perform continuous physical work, including frequent bending, walking, and lifting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Focus on high customer service standards.
- Previous dishwashing experience is preferred.
