About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker for the Anderson University Books and Beans location. This is a paid, on-site, full-time position with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Serve guests and interact with customers in dining and retail areas.
- Follow guest service procedures, including greeting customers.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations to meet regulatory standards.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with team members and other departments.
- Professional conduct when interacting with supervisors, managers, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Enrollment in a Business Administration program.
