About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Utility Worker for the Chick-fil-A location at Bob Jones University. This is a paid, on-site role open to students, including those studying Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a dish machine.
- Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in the proper locations.
- Receive product from vendors and organize stock.
- Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
- Clean and rotate items in the walk-in cooler.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and dishwashing equipment, or the ability to learn these tasks.
- Ability to perform continuous physical work, including frequent bending, walking, and lifting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Superior customer service standards.
- Previous dishwashing experience is preferred.
