About the role#
We are looking for a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team in Milwaukee or Waterford, Wisconsin. This role supports our transportation department with the planning and design of various transportation facilities. You will work directly with our transportation design team to gain hands-on experience during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform plan reviews and prepare project plans.
- Use CAD software for design tasks.
- Compute project quantities.
- Conduct traffic analysis and collect project data.
- Assist with field surveys and construction inspection.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Civil Engineering degree program with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering.
- Availability to start in May 2027.
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Access to your own transportation for travel throughout our service area.

- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
